SWAG bag

SWAG (Stuff We All Get) is a common highlight of many conferences. Today's pre-conference meeting involved a gift basket exchange. I brought along items from Saskatchewan - someone from South Dakota won my basket. I ended up winning a basket from Connecticut. It's kind of neat. Items included: a University of Connecticut hat, an ESPN T-Shirt, a Pez, a wiffle ball, some Pepperidge farms items, local candies, etc. All of these things have origins in Connecticut (ie. ESPN broadcasts out of Bristol, Connecticut; Wiffle Balls are made in Connecticut; I always thought Pez was from overseas somewhere...but there must be some connection to Connecticut).
