Arriving in DC

I arrived in Washington, DC around 5pm. In the first photo below, you can see the Whitehouse and Washington Monument out the window of the plane. Further down, you'll notice it was raining buckets here. There was lots of thunder and lightning - lightning actually struck a table on the roof of the hotel a minute or two before I arrived up there. The glass table shattered (top left corner of bottom photo) and the chairs flew into the pool. (Yes, there is a pool on the roof - the kids will like that!)
